Trainees and Higher Education Day Release

Dyer & Butler Electrical provides the opportunity for non-university educated applicants to train as site engineers or quantity surveyors by working on site, whilst attending part time education on a day release basis.

Practical experience is gained at work, for four days a week, with one day spent at university or college on a day release programme, sponsored* by Dyer & Butler Electrical.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships, to gain trade skills, are also offered to a small number of applicants every year. These apprenticeship offers come in a range of disciplines and Dyer & Butler Electrical will sponsor the trainee through college, on a day or block release basis, whilst they gain site experience to National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) level.

An NVQ is, potentially, just the start: options are available to further these qualifications and to obtain professional memberships.

"Dyer & Butler Electrical's teams showed a great deal of commitment, drive and a real desire to get the job done – working long days and weekends which could have eroded enthusiasm."
